it may be a cyst or it may be a lipoma which is a sort of fatty lump.Neither are harmful. Both can be removed quite easily under a local anaesthetic. Perhaps it would be a good idea for your wife to get these checked out and/or removed so that she can get a definite diagnosis and be rid of the lump.

Thank you for replying, thats good to hear, I've been trying to get her to get it checked but she keeps avoiding it, saying I've had it for ages it's fine, but think its time to get it sorted now just to be sure. Thank you for replying again.
