Lumps after haemoroidoctomy and anal stretch

i had a hemaroidoctomy on the 27th September along with an anal stretch for an anal fissure. recovery has been a bit rough but last few days i felt i was turning a corner until last night, i felt a lump, not where my haemorrhoids were removed. i couldn't fall asleep as i feel so upset its a haemoroid. i got in the shower and once i was out i got some haemoroid cream to put on it, hot water has always helped them back up so maybe from the shower it's gone. I've been putting sudocrem on and I've put it on today but i can feel small little bumps. has anyone gone through this?

I'm on week 3 and feel like i should be feeling better than i do. I'm barely leaving the bed.

hi dear. i know exactly what you are going through. as i had my surgery back on august 7. it is a long ride to recovery. i still find myself having bad days. not as many as before. when i have my bad days i jump in the shower to soothe me. then i stay in bed all day . my incisions have not fully healed shut causing me pain with bowel movements. but i must say it does get better. it might now seem that way now but it will. your body just needs time . and as for the bump you felt i too felt the same and then it went away on its own. i believe its just a part of swelling.

oh that's good to know. much to my mum's delight i got her to check and she said she can see the lump but looks more like skin and not a haemoroid. how long did it take to go?

It sounds like it could be a skin tag, which is common after surgery. You could check with your doctor.

yeah, i had a skin tag removed too, was only painful when i passed a bowel movement. can skin tags go away?

and can skin tags hurt? as i didn't suffer much with my first one. praying it's not a haemoroid!
