Lumps and bumps

I am new to this so forgive me if i ramble.

I am going to get a mammogram this week. But Iam so scared I cant sleep or eat or anything i Am just terrified. One minute im fine and the next i want to cry

In February i found a hard lumpy area in my breast that was sore . It almost seemed like a lump but when i lie down it all spreads out into a bunch of pea sized lumps all over my right breast. My breast also feels just harder with less soft tissue than the other. i have lumps in the other breast too many of them, it is just not as firm as my right breast and not as many as the right breast.

I also have an indention small on the right breast at the bottom. Of course i went to the web and now im scared. I have seen everything from Fibrocystic Breast (which i think it might be) To breast cancer ..

I do not have a for sure lump. It truly is a lot of little lumps all in the breast. I am 49 and very likely in peri menopause. Both breast get sore and all the lumps and bumps seem worse before I start my period. But even though they are not as sore after I start they are still there .

I need to know has anyone else had fibrocystic breasts that felt like a a bag of beans or that presented like this?
