Lumps in my neck

Hiya, For the past i would say 6ish months ive had multiple hard lumps underneath my skin in my neck. They don't stick out but if you feel on the neck you can find them. They are hard and honestly ive looked everywhere and no where explains them. I have 2 almost right beside eachother which are most prominent but i have another one on the other side of my neck, none of them are near my hairline. Honestly, I think they are probably just cysts but 2 of them seem to be growing and not going away which is slightly concerning. Im only 17 and im scared to talk to my mum or a doctor incase it's stupid and im over reacting. Would anybody be able to tell me if i should suck it up and talk to a doctor or if it's nothing to worry about? I know it's stupid to be asking on a forum but its the only idea I've got.

Please dont worry as this may be something simple like a lymph node, which can grow in a number of areas of the body at any age.

You do need to see your doctor, who can refer you on to a specialist to check what it is and it is a very simply operation to have these growths removed, often under a local anesthetic so you don't feel a thing.

Make your appointment and let us know how you get on.
