Lumps in throat

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hello there!

Firstly thank you in forward for your replies. I've got these lumps in my throat for quite a while (i already had them before corona started basically). They are not painful, however they do irritate me (as if something would be stuck in my throat). I also have quite a thick, stringy mucus, if I do not clear my throat or speak for a while, my voice goes away. I was diagnosed with GERD and hiatal hernia a while ago (in the summer) and I am since taking proton pump inhibitors. I was hoping that they would help me, but they did not so far. Can you guys please tell me, what this could be or is it really due to those two things? I am also scarred, that it could be something worse, hopefully it is not tho. Thank you once more!
