Are they quite firm and move about under the skin when pressed on?

Tom, just to clarify, you have not had any circumcision surgery? What is your age?
Have you been sexually active? If so, always protected or not?
My hunch would be these are not related to STD / STI's - there are several types of growths that these could be. Penile cysts are the most common ones, but these do not have the typical appearance.
If you have been sexually active, particularly without protection the best thing to do would be to get checked what you have going on, either go to your Regular / Family Doctor / GP - or go to any Sexual Health Service and have then visually checked .....

Hi, thank you for your replies. the spots are quite firm and painless, and do not move about under the skin.
i am uncircumcised and have had no surgery, my foreskin is tight though and is a bit of a struggle to pull it all the way back.
im 23 and sexually active with only one partner for the last 2 and a half years. i had multiple partners before this and was not always protected. i have not had an STI test in about 4 years though and neither has my current partner (i know this is bad)
along with this symptom i had a constant dull ache in my left testicle and a fever. so i saw a GP 2 days ago and she inspected my testicle and diagnosed me with Epididymitis (which makes sense). she prescribed me ciprofloxacin. she was in a rush to get me out of the door so i did not have time to show her the spots on my penis. she said that an infection would cause the epididymtis and i asked what would cause that, she just said anything can cause it. ive taken the antibiotics for the last couple of days and the testicle pain and fever symptoms are subsiding. however the spots are still on my penis.
my girlfriend is also ill with a UTI currently and has been prescribed antibiotics. her urine was tested by the doctors. i have no idea if the 2 infections are related.
i have ordered a urine STI test for Chlamydia and gonnarhea and will be posting this off today for results. i just dont know if the spots on my penis are related to the infection or not. my main concern is that if i do have an sti then i would have had this in my system, lying dormant, for over 2 years. if the results come back negative and the spots do not disappear i will visit a GUM clinic.
does anyone have any thought on all this?

the only std that lays dormant is herpes and it dosnt look like that to me things like chlamydia and gono cause symptoms such as pain when urinating and discharge usually a watery cloudy drip on a morning for chlamydia or a thick yellow for gono

i would revisit your doctor and have the lumps looked at if they are hard could be warts most stds like herpes cause blisters which then cause an open sore same with syphilis they break open to form open sores chlamydia and gono dont really cause lumps bumps like that

the lumps u hav could also be like the person above suggested benign growths like cysts best to have them looked at as no antibiotics are going to get rid of them
