my doctor thinks i may have this condition im seeing a specialist in london tomorrow it only took three weeks to get this appointment through should i be concerned?

    No, just consider yourself lucky. For me this condition leaves me wanting answers, which you are in a position to get reasonably quickly. I have had to wait 3 months for my follow on, still got one to go. 

    Write down everything you want to discuss, I always forget things, lupus fog!

      the only reason its happening so quick is because the condition can effect the meds i need to treat my ideopathic hypersomnia. good luck too.

    Not at all you are obviously in very good hands! The sooner you are diagnosed the sooner they can start sorting out medication for you.

    Try not to worry too much – there are lots of people on here who suffered for years without the correct diagnosis.

    I was one of the lucky ones and had it spotted, diagnosed and on suitable medication within 12 months.
