Lymph node anxiety!!

A lymph node on the left of groin is larger than the other (almond sized) and I can feel it pretty well!! I can even see it a little in a certain lighting and I'm obsessed about this. I feel it every night with my hand or whenever I'm alone and I am so conceived I have lymphoma. Ive lost some weight recently due to high anxiety/stress and I weigh 113 lbs and I'm 5'3. Is it normal to feel lymph nodes in the groin when you're skinny? What about one being bigger than the other?? I've already gone to two doctors appointments about different things (not the lymph nodes) and my dad is tired of me asking for doctor stuff and Idk what to do. I'm very conscious of everything with my body (I have HUGE healthy anxiety) and check my whole body for weird stuff all the time. I don't think someone that doesn't do that would have noticed it. Do u think I have cancer??? (I'm female btw)

i have had enlarged lymph nodes in the groin many times. It can be caused by a viral infection, ( like a cold or flu) ,
some people get fatty growths there which are harmless.
they usually go away on their own.
As a nurse I know that cancer is NOT a common cause of swollen lymph nodes in the groin.
Have you seen your doctor, if so what does he or she say?
yes if you are thin, you will see the nodes way easier!
Relax, and listen to the doctor.
Many people get this
you will be just fine! 💜🌸🌸🌸🌻

Hi there. I have debilitating health anxiety myself and lymph nodes has been a constant source of worry. The lymph nodes on my groind are permenantly enlarged. We re talking about REALLY enlarged. Being very slim doesn t help either as they re very visible. Went to the doctor a few months ago to ask him about it with all the accompanying anxiety, racing heart and all them wonderful symptoms I get while waiting at the doctors. Of course turned out it was nothing. Doctor said that some people are naturally more lumpy than others. He also pointed out that my skin is quite thin and I am very slim and lean that s why they re visible. When i told him about my fears of lymphoma he just laughed patted me on the back and promised me that lymphoma has a bunch of completely different symptoms. Then he sent me home. Health anxiety is a little demon in our heads making us observe every miniscule change in our bodies and making scenaria. Well bad news is that our bodies change constantly. Good news is that this is absolutely normal. Also, as i m generally "lumpy" i went to a naturopathic doctor recently. She believes that i may have had glandular fever when i was a child and glandular fever can result sometimes in (benign)swollen lymph nodes. Relax your mind for now. I m sure it s all good with your groins.
