Lymph node question

I forgot to ask this with my last post tonight and it wont let me edit it lol. So I have to make a new post. I was having some pain in the right side of my neck so my doctor did an ultrasound and found two benign appearing lymph nodes on that side. Anyone else have this issue? Also random itching? I find myself itching in random spots often lately.

Hi Ashlie, that is a good report, NOTHING to worry about, if it bothers you, you can monitor them for a few months...no thyroid involvement is great, many many reasons for lymph glands to be swollen and they will probably just go back to normal...don't play with them, or push on them, size-wise now, you can maybe draw little pen marks and take photo to compare size, check once a month is fine, if it grows more than a few mm you can ask your Dr about it....he may do another ultrasound in 6 months or if he hasn't planned another, he thinks it will go away....you can try a warm cloth or heating pad if they are sore(after pushing on them it can be tender)...itching, do you have allergies or have they changed your laundry soap scent or formula? dryer sheets, soap, lotion, body wash? new clothes? if it continues, ask your DR....GOOD LUCK & BEST WISHES๐Ÿ’’๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ€โ˜ฎ๐ŸŒˆโ™พ

The toxins associated with 3 months of EBV have left my skin a little more pale, with a subtle, more wrinkly texture. When pinched, the skin has clearly lost some elasticity and appears dehydrated. I also have some itchiness and mild sensitivity to soaps/shampoos that would normally have no ill effect...

Hi Mark(love 13)...Have you tried something like Aveeno lotion with colloidial (sp check no help here)oatmeal....it has no scents, helps with moisturizing and it soothes itching...my husband can only use 1 soap, 1 shampoo and is allergic to scents(breathing issues)& he likes it and can use it...not greasy, lasts long...really amazing...Best Wishes with your health๐Ÿ’’๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’žโ˜ฎ๐ŸŒˆโ™พ๐Ÿ€

Yes I've had the lymph node pain and also did a ultrasound, mines showed mild swelling. it's been 9 months and I still get the pain in my neck and armpits. I hate to say it but you may experience a whole lot more than you expect

Don't be alarmed with the lymph node issues. Mine still over 2 yrs hurts at times. Every cold or infection and when i overwork it seems. I used some tea tree oil to relieve pain. Also, the itching happened and nothing seemed to work. I was miserable at times. I put some lotion in refrigerator and it helped a little. The good news i think is it lasted a month or two and then i noticed a big improvement of all my symptoms. I was told by someone that this is one of the last attacks before it is leaving our bodies. Just try to relax and let this thing run its course. You are near the end of this and will be back to yourself soon. Do stay hydrated and think positive though. cj
