Lymph nodes

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help. I noticed a small pea sized lump on the bottom of my neck on the right side. It's hard and not sore to touch and it doesn't move ( which I read online can be linked to cancer ) I didn't think anything of it, however I have anxiety and one day I decided to worry about it. I saw my gp who referred me to ultrasound to check it out however he believes it isn't anything too serious. I suffer from quite bad psoriasis and he mentioned that my nodes might be swelling up due to infection. My appointment is in 3 weeks however I'm loosing sleep from worrying about the worst. Has anyone else had swollen glands from psoriasis? I have also developed a sore throat and chills. Again this worries me as it's a symptom of cancer? Or could I just be working myself up through anxiety and feeling rough from that? Someone please help ??

Take a deep breath... slow down your anxiety. Normal to feel upset. See a doc finish test for diagnosis and I know it's going to be something simply ok.It could be a sore throat only from this time of year lots of yucky things are going around.  I too have psoriasis and it's a autoimmune disease. The lump has nothing to do with P. Or psoriatic arthritis in the fingers and toes is usually a added complication from p. There are a lot of bio meds to help clear you have you seen a Psoriasis specialist or rhumy?

i wish you thembest and life will be kinder to you soon, get well! Hugsxxx

Your lymph nodes is hard, but not sore to touch..... not painful ?

The sore throat and chills are infection related.

Is your psoraisis running in the family?
