For a while now the lymph nodes in my armpits have been burning and painful on an off. They're not constantly burning burning, but it hurts when they do. Recently they also hurt near my leg. Shoulde I be concerned?

Lymph nodes swell up for lots of reasons, such as if you've been unwell (as they're a part of our immune system), hormonal changes like your period coming, or infections. Sometimes swollen lymph nodes are a sign of something more worrying, but not often. Generally, you should see a doctor if you've had it for more than 4 weeks, there's been an increase in size of the lump, it's accompanied by other symptoms (such as breast lumps, etc..) and it's solid/fixed in place (doesn't move when you press on it). Pain isn't typically associated with cancer, so if it's burning that's not normally a worrying sign, but if it's bothering you it's a good idea to get it checked out.
