Had operation to close macular hole about 3 years ago had cataract removed about 3 months later but now my eyesight in eye is so blurred i have had eye tests but optician seems to think although my sight in that eye is bad it's to do with the condition i thought this op would have improved vision if i had known outcome i would not have bothered

If you are in UK ask your GPs opinion. He/she may prefer to refer you back to the ophthalmologist who treated you. There may be something else that can be done.

Maybe you need to give it some more time. Repair is needed, its either that or the treatment didnt work. Eyesight gets worse over time for some when exposed to bright lights.
