Yes I take magnesium at night (& extra Vit D)-- it helps with so many things--- sleep, BP, aches/pains and yes I have read that it helps with anxiety which is an extra bonus. : )

I just read that Vitamin D and magnesium should be taken together and both have been shown to improve anxiety. I'm on Wellbutrin but I'm getting ready to start taking a Vitamin D and magnesium supplement. I'm praying it helps because this anxiety is for the birds!

I'm so glad you said that. I've always taken mag at night and extra Vit D at night. The mag for better sleep and Vit D just because it's such a powerful vitamin-it seems like you can never get enough of it. I will defiantly continue because anxiety is a hassle to deal with. You might want to look into spirulina as well-- I took that for awhile and thought I 'felt' better.-- I've been out for awhile and that could be why I feel anxious.. IDK worth looking into..

I also read that it's hard to get enough vitamin D. I think they recommend 50,000 IUs a week. My level was 19 and my doctor only had me taking 1,000 IUs a day. I never noticed a difference and maybe that's why. I wasn't taking enough. What is spirulina? I don't think I've ever heard of it.
