Hi all.... I've taken magnesium citrate for 1 week now to help with peri symptoms (night sweets, insomnia, HBP, headache, anxiety, chest pains...etc). Its actually Helped and I've gotten to sleep a bit more.
I don't mind going to the restroom a lot but now it's given me bad acid reflux and faster heart rate, anyone else experience this with the magnesium?

Theresa06691,
I've have experience that w/o the magnesium citrate. I'm told that that is a part of menopause as well. I started using my secret from herbally grounded is a blend of roots, barks and herbs to replace or have the other think that the hormones we're losing is still there. I have been sleeping better , less anxiety.

I don't think it's the magnsium in fact magnesium actually regulates the heartbeat and would slow it instead of make it beat faster. :-)

Is that the trade off for sleep?

Morning all, I have read on this site about magnesium on many occasions does this help with joint pain?. I have tried so many vitamins. I am currently experiencing joint pain in both feet arms hands. I wake up each morning and feel 90 years old they way I shuffle about before the joints begin to settle down usually once I have taken a pain killer. Does anyone experience this type of pain as well. I have been told ut is Rheumatoid Arthritis and have been given medication for it, it hasn't really done anything so I have stopped taking them. I am not convinced it is arthritis and trying to muddle through this. I work with children and have a wonderful grandson that I enjoy looking after. I am 56 no period now for 18 month's. Was so active before all this started now I am just so tired and wang to sleep. Any advice ladies

I have some joint pains but not severe thus far, I do find that exercising 30 minutes or so a day helps.
hope this helps you and you get some relief

I'm interested in trying the magnesium for my insomnia as well. Any recommendations or suggestions? How well has it worked for you and how soon after you started it did you see results? Thanks
