Magnifying spectacles and possible vertigo

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi, I purchased online a pair of non-prescription safety spectacles +2.5 magnification. When trying them on for the first time I almost immediately suffered with mild vertigo.

I am mid 70s man with reasonable good long vision but need prescription lenses to read, I am aware my left eye needs more ?? magnification than my right.

I occasionally but infrequently suffer with mild vertigo.

BTW the new magnifying specs gave me slightly clearer site than my present reading specs.

I welcome your thoughts..is it reasonable to accept my vertigo was as a result of trying the new spectacles, or a coincidence AND yes when time and circumstances permits and this low bout of vertigo is finished I will try the spectacles again to test any theory.

Regards

Richard
