Major Anxiety

Posted , 1 user is following.

I get major anxiety that often is triggered by certain family members who are narcissistic/emotionally abusive. I do my best to avoid them, but we always end up crossing paths. My anxiety causes: panic attacks, racing thoughts, constant worry, trouble sleeping, and feeling like I am a failure. This anxiety is debilitating and often lasts for several days. What are some ways to cope? How can I suppress my anxiety when I face my triggers?

I want to be close to my family, but as it stands I do not see it ever happening unless my anxiety goes away. Please send advice.
