Major anxiety, ruining my life

for the last six weeks ive been gradually becoming unwell to a point now i cant even sleep or eat and everryone around me is fed up of me telling them im unwell. I have a lot of symptoms but the ones that bother me the most are constant light headedness, weakness, chest pain, back pain and pain in left arm and palpatations. i have started 10mg citalopram and i feel 200 times worse. i am only day 6, but im sleeping 1-2 hours a night, cant eat a thing so on a liquid diet, crying a lot because i cant cope with my symptoms, waking up every night to this electric cold sensation in my chest and arms that lasts hours and i feel like i am dying. if i try to nap my body wont let me, dry mouth and a nasty chemical smell and taste in my mouth. i have the worst bags under my eyes. When does this get better? i want to feel normal again this is not like me at all.

It gets better when we stop fighting to get better and just accept that for now we are like this. That gives our mind a rest and stops the adrenaline flooding our body and causing the physical symptoms.

    Good luck x

I know how awful you are feeling. I have to agree with the other person who responded. Whenever we fight against something it comes at us even stronger. When I take the attitude of oh well that’s how I am right now, things get a little better. would you be able to set up some counseling sessions? You could do them virtually and stay at home if you like. But you need some support right now from somebody who will help you manage this. just having someone to talk to Who won’t judge you is very helpful!

I wish you the best and hope you feel better soon
