Major Herpes Outbreak that wont stop

I have had Herpes for decades but it has been about 10 years since my last outbreak which was minor. Now all of a sudden I have this huge agressive one that left a massive blister behind my knee that got infected. Red dots on lower legs sore throat and little pin pricks from head to toe. Also a big painful blister on elbow.

This thing wont stop depsite 1000 mg of acoclovir 3 times daily.

I eat extremely healthy and exercise and sleep well and have very little stress (until now)

Has anyone else been here and have any advice?

    stress only makes it worse. talk to a therapist about finding ways to take your mind off it
