Male 30. Stomach problems, bloated, insomnia, heart palpitations..

Hei guys..

In late august my problems came from nowhere. I woke up one day and had pain in my stomach. Since then i am bloated and full 24/7, like my abdomen is a ballon and is painful too. I am belching alot, lost my appetite, i dont even feel thirst, i get full very quickly and force myself with food so i don't lose any more weight. Pain in my stomach..

I am 6.2 and now i weight 160lbs, i lost 20lbs in 3 months.

For the past month i can feel pounding of my heartbeat and i take sleeping pills so i can sleep. Blood pressure and heartbeat is normal. Im like a disaster at the moment. Stress and anxiety started when i already had these stomach problems some time, so that wasn't the cause of problems.

I had two endoscopies, colonoscopy, x ray chest and heart, ekg, blood test, mri abdomen. And all they found is mild chronic gastritis and i am on esomeprazole.

My stool is full of undigested food, not like in big pieces but like in coffe grounds.

When i told my gi doctor, he said i must eat more. How can i eat more if i can't??? I tried different diets, supplements, ppis, domperidon.. nothing helps.

My doctor is so fixed on gastritis, that he prescribed me AD pills because i am overreacting. If he was in my skin.. I'm sure gastritis is not causing this.

I know for sure my bloating is not because of food, it started the same time with pain in my stomach. And when i took laxatives for colonoscopy i was still bloated. With bloated comes fullness, i feel like i am having a big fat rock in me.

All this affects my life where i'm afraid to go to my job, i am home now, because it's quite physical.

This is about it. I don't know what to do anymore, what to check, who to go..

I have an appointment with other gi doctor, but i am scared he will only said to continue take ppis and thats it.

What i must do so they will take me seriously?? On a paper they see im fine and let me go, but i'm in pain all the time. I'm already so tired after three months, that even if they found cancer is the cause of this, i would be happy. At least i would get diagnosed.

What should i do??

Please help me

Thank you

Hi.Sorry to hear you're going through this.

I've been having similar problems since August out of nowhere. It started one night with serious heartburn and dizziness. It was very different from anything I've had before and that took my anxiety levels through the roof. I had heart palpitations and anxiety induced trembling for hours. I felt nauseous so I threw up and felt a bit better.

Ever since then, I've had this constant upper abdominal discomfort (kinda like some pressure or dull ache) which doesn't hurt a lot but is VERY uncomfortable, even more so when I sit. Also, I have this slight burning sensation in my upper abdomen sometimes.

I get bloated whenever I eat/drink anything and burp like crazy all the time. I also have occasional heartburn, constipation and headaches or jaw pain.

I've visited quite a few doctors now and most of them diagnose me with acid reflux and just stick a PPI on my face and that's about it. The most recent doctor said it was gastritis and again, just put me on PPI's and some laxatives but I don't think the PPI's are helping at all because my symptoms are the same despite three months of continuous medication. My anxiety is better now but I'm still very stressed over this and I'm not sure what this could be.

Did you get tested for h pylori??

Drinking lots of water and walking a lot throughout the day helps me the best.

perhaps the heart palpitations are connected to the stomach issues somehow but doctors dont always know why. it could even be a virus, one that has reactivated in your cells that you had long ago like epstein barr ( mono). i heard viruses like that can just reflare years later and cause all sorts of weird symptoms. it can be mysterious but not life threatening. the doctor found gastritis so surely that is part of the problem. the question is now what caused your gastritis. did he/she test you for H Pylori and parasites?
