Male - redness on left side of glans and some spotting

Hey, I am 26 and have never had unprotected sex besides giving or getting oral.

I also have phimosis which I was planning to see my doctor on to either give me a topical to help with that or if that doesn't work, I am open to getting circumcision.

On Saturday, April 30 I woke up to the left side of penis feeling sore and tender.

I had some discharge of what looked like smegma and there was an unpleasant smell until Tuesday, May 3 when the odour had gone away and the inflammation on the right side of my glans was down significantly. During those first 4 days, I could not push back my foreskin because of how tender it was.

So on Tuesday, May 3 I was able to retract my foreskin as much as I can and was able to full see the area where I had redness. Wanted to get your thoughts on what this may look like. I will also be seeing my doctor later this week.

The redness is almost gone but I still have a few of those areas what I'm calling spotting.

They never raised in size, they have stayed flat or almost seems like indented dots slightly on the glans.

I do recall having a very similar experience in August/September 2020.

Because we were in heavy covid lockdowns, the doctor prescribed me some medication (capsules) through over the phone, and the tender feeling, discharge all went away over the course of the medication. The tender feeling at this time was at both sides of my glans, towards the end nearing the shaft. At that time, my phimosis was worse and could not see the end of my glans.

Hope that provides some insight instead of jumping to a herpes conclusion.

Please see the images I have provided. I have put the dates to show the progression so please have a look based on that. Thank you.

Hi Man you need to have it checked with your doctor it's good you are going later in the week make sure to go! You will need to get the phimosis sorted it's important to be able to retract your foreskin and clean every day if you can't then you should consider circumcision. But see how you get on with the doctor first.
