I am being treated for anxiety on Escitalopram 20mg, this started three weeks ago. I was started on Azthioprine for Crohns disease a week and a half ago. I was reassured by my nursing team that I would be O.K with this medication after steroids increased the anxiety. I am due to start a biological on Monday. It had been a stressful week but, I feel anxious. I don't feel good. Any advice please? Thank you.

Hi Tim, I too have been on Steroids & Azathioprine for Crohns, and felt anxious about my health as a result. My advise would be to try and relax, take some deep breaths and try not to worry. I know its easier said than done, but your anxiety will be making you feel worse. Read up about anxiety and how it effects your body. Good luck with the Biologics, I have heard good things about them. Regards, Debbie
