Mandatory reconsideration part 2
Posted , 6 users are following.
I have posted a previous discussion on here and just wanted to update you and for any advice.
I have been phoning DWP every week since the begining of August to try and get my mandatory reconsideration letter sorted. DM awarded me 10 points for mobility but cover letter said no award. I phoned again today and woman said letter was sent out yesterday (waiting on postman as we speak) she says letter says I'm only awarded 4 points for mobility same as first award letter. I've put in appeal but had to send in mandatory letter which contridicted itself.
Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated

It seems to me as if the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing.
I'm not able to offer any advice I'm afraid Danno, but I can well imagine the stress you are under through all of this.
I know that someone on here will be able to pass on some words of wisdom so just hang on in there. x

You are one of many (including myself) that didn't pursue a claim for PIP.
Personally I have no idea how people who say that they are severely disabled can cope with the system - they must have a level of willpower stronger than mine.

I got assessors report when I asked for mandatory reconsideration, full of lies and saying things I hadn't said. I got my Dr to write a letter and that was why I got my 10 points on my MR letter. Just going to have to wait and see what this letter says. I think it will just be exactly the same as my original letter and ignoring my MR one
