Manuka honey

Recently I am having a flareup and developing scar tissue around the right edge of my clitoris I feel aroused a lot because of the pressure of the inflammation. I am finding it distressing. The steroid doesn't seem to be calming it down. Years ago i remember some chat about manuka honey for LS. Does anyone on here use it or have any tips for my clitoris?

I have only "heard" that he honey helps a variety of skin conditions. It's a cheap experiment and if it doesn't help, you can always eat it. Have also read on this forum that borax soaks will unfuse tissues. Best of luck.

Hello, I use manuka honey for many things. Its primary medicinal use is for wound care. The bees that produce the honey feed on tea tree plants, and so the honey is full of antiseptic properties. There is a lot of info on the Manuka Health and NIH websites if you are interested. I haven't found it to cure itch or pain sensations, and I did try using it for LS symptoms prior to being diagnosed with LS, and personally found it to be ineffective.
