Hello guys.
First of all sry if my english is not perfect but is not my main language.
I was diagnosed with primary bladder neck obstruction and verumontanum hypertrophy. My symptoms are urgency , freqvency , strain to pee , weak stream etc .I always manage to empty the bladder fully but all time i have the feeling to go again. The problem is the symptoms start to be worse as time pass , in last month i also started to have pain while i pee , my bladder capacity is also reduced gradualy at 180 200 ml i feel like my urethra is exploding and the last symptomp is pain.urethra pain that i feel mostly in the tip of the penis ( i feel it almost all the time sometimes like burning ,sometimes like stinging) . I am curios guys did any of u had same symptoms with this diagnostic , i am specialy interested in this constant big urethral pain ( mostly fel in tip of the penis ).Ty alot

How do you know that you empty your bladder fully? Your symptoms seem to be of urinary retention, and that can lead to UTI which is urinary tract infection. Hank

I have narrow bladder neck too with exactly the same symptoms as you do. I have hesitancy as well as a PVR of around 40 ml. My urine speed is just 4 ml/s average.
How old are you?
Do you know your Uroflowmetry result?
Did you try Tamsulosin/Alfuzosin?
How long have you had these problems?

I am 36.i had problems with my stream for 15 years maybe but that was all.symptoms started to develop gradualy last half of year .i tryed tamusolin with no succes now i try silodosin and baclofen .my stream atm is really weak stop and start alot of times.
Hamza i see u also had or have a sticture ? did u had my problems before stricture as well ? or after it healed ? i ask cause maybe the penis/urethra pain u have is caused of stricture and not bladder neck problems.i have no stricture atm just did cystoscopy

what did u do for that pain to go away ?

Nothing. It went away itself.
If you are yet to have kids, I would suggest you to perform Cisc using 8/10Fr cath. There's no guarantee BNI will fix your problems.
Why do you feel burn at the tip of the penis? I feel there's something else causing this. I know a lot of people with high bladder neck. No one has burning at the tip of the penis. Could be narrow meatus as well.

Imo is a sign of prostatitis also.but i wonder ,why did u had this symptoms also if u only have bladder neck obstruction and most of the ppl with this condition don t have this problem ? maybe u had it cause of strictures

I underwent Cystoscopy already. Got stricture as well as bladder neck obstruction. I am not really sure what you mean by the last statement.

i wanted to say maybe the urethra / penis pain u had are cause of strictures not bladder neck obstruction.

Yes, but why do you have pain since you have no stricture?

i did not had pain first months , pain appeared last 2 months only , from what i read some more serios cases also experience pain.but from what my doctor say i could have some prostatitis symptoms also cause my obstruction is pretty strong 😦 was really hard to complete the cystoscopy , my bladder and verumontanum are very very tight

Hi Valetin - good to read experiences on here as helps with the daily sruggle
my story
47yrd Male
4 month ago all of a sudden constant peeing, dribble after peeing and Penis pain
No UTI (Anitbitocs completed)
Urodynamics and Cystocopy completed
No Stricture
Enlarged Prostate but not affecting urethra
Qmax of about 9 mL/sec. It was quite slow, long and protracted.
Have been on Tamasolin and now Mirabegron
Looks like its a PBNO (bladder neck not fully opening), and will consider BNI surgery as drugs are not helping.
The pain/dull pain in penis is constant and not bearable, the frequent visits to toilet and during day and night i can prob live with, but its the penis dull pain i have trouble with
thanks for reading
