I have just noticed a mark appear on my little toe, its recently popped up. Do you think im wasting time if i go to the doctors? im unsure if it could be skin cancer, the skin feels the same it isnt raised and is perfectly smooth along with the rest of the skin around the area. I have took some pictures

I would recommend seeing a doctor. The smaller the mark is, the easier it is to have it removed. In such cases, a border of uninvolved tissue has to be removed together with the mark. A biopsy will determine if it indeed is skin cancer or not.

Btw, it is important to apply sunscreen to your feet as well, especially if you are wearing sandals.

hi, thanks for taking the time to reply. I saw a doctor today, he looked it and said he wasn't sure wether it was a skin blister or a mole. He said i should measure it and check it in a couple weeks to see if its changed size. Its 3mm long

To be fair, the skin around the mark looked a little bit red. You could continue taking a picture every week to see if it does change its size. When taking the picture you could place a ruler next to the skin mark. Good luck.

    Hey Billy!

Just curious what this ended up being? I have something very similar looking on the toe next to my baby one.
