I started taking 10mg of lexapro 4 weeks ago because I had severe insomnia for 6 months, and my doctor gave me trazadone 50mg at night for sleep. It hasn’t been easy😢 I have lots of side affects like some nights not sleeping at all and I take the lexapro in the mornings, no appetite severe anxiety, shaking nausea please tell me it gets better,

It does get better, I am on week 7 now, but I still am not completely symptom free.  This has been a long journey to get used to this medication.  Everything I read was just give it time, so I have.

I am on 5 mg, I have had almost every side effect, even if it is only for one day.  I have never had this kind of a reaction to any medication.  Just decided to wait and see if the side effects would go away.

In one post I read from someone they said, that if you start having some good days that the medication was working and the days should be getting more and more.  It took a while and now things are somewhat better.  Like I said still not where I would like to be.
