Masturbation and pubic bone pain ?

Hi

I am 23 years old female and I have been depressed for quite some time because of this pubic bone pain, which i supposed is Chronic pelvic pain. It is not extremely hurtful but it is very annoying. It's been like 2 months, a dull pain that comes and goes every other day. I think masturbation is the reason of it. I have stopped doing it but the pain doesn't go away. I just can't admit to my family or doctor that i have been masturbating. I went to see my o&g doctor and talked about my problem but leaving the fact of masturbation of course & she gave me pain killer and anti inflammatory medicines but it didn't help me much. I am wondering what to do & end up here. Will they know that i have been masturbating or that frequent orgasm is related to my pain when they do tests on me ? Is there any way they would know by tests? It does sound stupid but.. I want to be treated but I'm really afraid my family or the doctors would find out about it.

    Hi Bella!

I have been suffering from lower pelvic pain too for about 2 months now.

I find it odd that the reason for your pain would have been brought on by masturbation, there is probably another reason for it, and to reassure you about your question they won't find out you have been doing it.

I hope u find relief soon for pelvic pain!

It's literally making me depressed too!

Hello Lidia , I'm very sorry to hear about your pain sad

Oh, I just googled a lot and read that side effects of "over masturbation" includes chronic pelvic pain. Thus I thought it did trigger the pain. Thanks for your reply and may I know how you are getting treated?

    Hi Bella,

Sorru to hear you have been suffering. Can I just say firstly, please don't feel ashamed or guilty about masturbating. It is one of the most natural things in the world! And please do seek further medical advice about this if it persists!! If you are worried about this being on your notes, please be assured that Doctors and surgery staff have confidentiality policies that they have to adhear to, and your notes will not be able to be viewed by anyone else without your permission. If need be you can request this not be added at all.

    Good luck xx
