Maternity jeans as my cyst is starting to make me look very pregnant

Has anyone else had to start looking at maternity jeans whilst having a large cyst. When I found out 2 month ago I had a large cyst of around 17cm I didn't feel as round as I do now. My stomach seems to be becoming more pregnant like as the weeks go on. I'm struggling to fit into my normal clothes so I am starting now looking at maternity jeans because my normal ones are very uncomfortable. I am sick of wearing leggings so I feel comfortable, has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions?

I had the same problem before my surgery. Even after I wore leggings quite a bit because of the incision. I say just do what makes you feel comfortable. You do you, girl! 💁

Strangely I wondered about that this week. Given that I am 64 I didn't want to go into shop so looked at mothercare online. I decided against them in the end because the solid material of the trousers stopped under the 'bump' which is where I am sore. I settled for a larger size of woven tracksuit trousers from a sports shop but can't really wear them to go out anywhere special.

Hi yes I just had to buy a pair of maternity trousers!! My waist is usually 29 inches but at the minute goes between 37 and 39 inches depending if I stay in my feet too long. I have a large cyst and I am getting removed really soon. The bloat is terrible and I had to give in and buy maternity trousers. You are not alone I feel you're pain, not a good look. I am avoiding people as I know they will ask about my bump and wonder when baby is due!!!
