I've had a cough for about 3 or 4 weeks. No chest pain no shortness of breath maybe a little. Hot flashes here and there. I had bilateral pes kn November of 2016. Small ones so I was told. Got off blood thinners may 2017. I take baby aspirin. No blood clotting g disorder. Not sure how I got it but could my coughing be another pe? I didn't have coughing the first time. Only slight chest pain and high bp.

    I would see the doctor.  This has happened to me.  Perhaps you could ask for CT scan as cxr does not show blood clots in lung.  If you have had one before, then you are at a higher risk of getting another, so I was told.  Hope you get seen soon.

    I should add that I'm a smoker but can't inhale all the way to my lungs. Sounds stupid. I know. Goes to the back of my throat then I blow it out. My allergies are really bad this year and I'm not on any allergy meds because they raise my hr I think.
