I had a spot behind my knee that kinda stung a bit a week ago. then it kinda scabbed up and started to itch. I tried not to scratch at it, but I couldn't help it. now it looks like this. could this be MC or maybe just an insect bite. Any info would be nice. and thanks in advance.

I don't think this is MC, but mostly because of the stinging and itching. MC doesn't really itch or sting. Well it can get itchy when you've had it for awhile and it's not healing, or the skin gets really irritated, etc. But this just kinda sounds like an irritated bug bite. Get your flashlight out aand shine a light on it at an angle. Is the bump almost pearly in color? i
Is the bump hard? Those are signs of MC.
