hj anyone know how long side effects take to go tapered down from 40 mg to 25 mg in 4-5 weeks down from 30 to 25 past two weeks feel slightly better but still got anxiety is this normal ?

    You withdrawal takes time and given that you need to follow the process as advised by your GP.

    You are not unusual in your feeling, although patience is a virtue. You will suffer Anxiety, hopefully these problems will eventually cease and you will feel much better, remember you are reducing to withdrawing of this medication. You will eventually calm and move on ?.

      thanks i know everyone is different but what is average i still need to go to 20 and start setraline

      I tapered from 20-10. Give each fosage 4-6 weeks to settle. 2 weeks is not enough time
