ME Swimming

I thought that swimming was supposed to be good for us sad I took kids swimming yesterday and thought i would try a couple of breast strokes myself :fish:

My legs felt so heavy in the water and my shoulders were weak

This morning i feel really stiff and achey as usual  Obviously i have to build it up but it's such a hassle to get into your swimsuit and out again for just a 5 minute swim.

I really miss exercise so maybe i will persevere as can't do the gym or jogging as i used to :run:

i miss swimming so much its unreal! I always feel ill in the water and am in pain for days after, Its one of the things i miss the most.

I think the thing that stops me going swimming on a half good day now is the fact that iv got some love handles the past year and dont feel i could face taking my top off...lol

Yes, I know exactly how you both feel

I've only tried swimming once since being ill and I didn't make it past trying to put my cossie on...... like you Teedie, I just found the struggle totally exhausting and ended up with straps in quite the wrong place .... so gave it up as a bad job  Also the smell of the chlorine made me feel really queasy :erm:

I really do miss the gym ...... on a good day I think 'oh, it won't be long before I am able to go back ..' but I'm just kidding myself.
