Meat Aversion

Has anyone else had issues with eating meat since your fibromyalgia started? I have always eaten meat and never had issues before. I noticed last year I had more issues of feeling like I can't even swallow meat without feeling like I'm going to be sick. And its been slowly getting worse and I have an increased craving for veggies.

Yes, I stopped eating meat as well. Not sure if I feel any better but my stomach doesn't hurt as much.

No I have not had that issue at all. I know relatives and friends that have fibro and they do not complain of that. But hey its ok! You do not have to eat meat. Just make sure you take supplements for iron, etc if you need it.  Mine is salmon. All of a sudden it is making me sick to eat it. I can have lox but I cannot have regular cooked salmon but I do not think it comes from fibro. Our bodies change as we get older.

I get bad jaw pain and can't chew as well as losing the will of taste, so nearly everything tastes bland or tough as old boots, was a beef freak, but unless it's falling apart I can't eat it and a lot of foods I've just gone right off of.

It's like being a kid again though haha, fussy eaters xx
