Hi. I want some advice on medial ligament injuries. I hurt mine a while ago and I reinjured it again. The ligament is stable but I still have discomfort after returing to sport. Also there is some stiffness in my thigh. Is this normal? Am I returning too soon?

Oh boy...it's time to visit your doctor!  Make sure you are icing in the meantime.  GOOD LUCK!!

Are you loosening off enough before and after sport? i had a full knee rebuild and found it hurt like hell when i eventually returned to sport, even being less competitve. i was shown some really useful tips by a physio i know and the pain soon went

Yes. It's getting slighty better. I feel no pain but some stiffness and it's been like that for a while. I go to physio in a month which is a pain. It's the unkown that's the worse thing and also fearing something has gone wrong with it. I feel nothing with shorts on or walking.

Tennis. It's been 3 months since I did it. It's a weird one. Something is telling me it's not my medial ligament. Surley if it is I wouldn't suffer thigh stiffness and some stiffness down the side. I decided to do no exercise for a few days which made my leg even stiffer. Can't wait to see my physio. Footballers return very quickly after these injuries. Have I permantley damaged it?
