Medical marijuana

Has anyone tried medical marijuana for pain relief. Don't know very much about it but my doctor said to give it a try if I want to. I am trying to stay away from opiates, they make me high and I still have the pain.

Not sure where you live or what is available, but states in the US with medical marijuana that is legal to prescribe for pain will not make you high. I am not a medical person or scientist, but the nature of the marijuana oil that is used medically has no THC (the component that makes you high) so would not be an issue. However, if the Dr is simply indicating that you could try street marijuana to test out its pain effects, that is a completely different story. You may want to try CBD oil that has hemp in it; less effective than medical marijuana, but for some, a CBD balm directly applied to the area can bring some pain relief. Order it online or get it at a natural food co-op etc.

Sorry that you are in pain. It is miserable. My FS lasted about a year and the only thing that brought me some minimal relief were ultrasound guided cortisone injections. My shoulder still hurt plenty, but it did help a bit.

Hello Sandra. I recently tried CBD oil. Take it orally. Must say it helps me sleep. X

I have tried smoking and it definitely helped me relax and helped with a good nights sleep.
