medical procedure for sinus's

Hi Im new to the forum. Ive had chronic sinusitis for over a decade. I get really poorly with it and struggle with daily tasks when I have a flair up. Ive tried all the home remedies, antibiotics, steroid sprays and homeopathic tablets (from Sinus Wars). However I am still suffering every couple of months with infections which knock me out.

My doctor has referred me for a procedure which will get rid of the nasal polyp I have. I am quite worried about having it done. Is there anyone out there who has had the op and can tell me how it was please? Also if it has helped them from getting further infections.
