Medication change.

I have been taking low dose Pramipexole three times a day plus 45mg codeine and one Zolpidem each night. I have severe augmentation and my prescribing nurse has suggested that I would get more benefit by substituting the Pramipexole for Pregabalin. However she says I need to wash out the Pramipexole from my system by taking g only one per day for five days and then none for two days before I start on the Pregabalin. I'm finding it virtually impossible to do, the symptoms become unbearable. Has anyone taken both of these drugs together on a low dose? I 'm 74, active, not overweight, and otherwise healthy.
