Mebeverine has worked well for me for years but the dose of 3 per day made me very constipated and I had to reduce it to 2 per day. This took away the constant pain of bloating for me.
My doctor tells me that Mebeverine (a trade name as well as the ingredient) is now difficult to obtain and has put me on Colofac which I understand IS Mebeverine.

Please read Colpermin (NOT Colofac) in each case mentioned except for the final one!
I wish we could amend mistakes on this forum!!! It would make reading them less confusing!
