I'm diagnosed w undifferentiated connective tissue disease. I am taking plaquenil. Has anyone ever had this mwf trigger a flare? I've been sick for about 5 days... Fatigue, extreme joint pain, stomach issues, butterfly rash. I have been doing paleo for the past three weeks and now am trying to avoid FODMAPS. Thoughts?

Have you been back to the person who prescribed the Plaquenil? How long have you been taking it & do you have regular blood tests?
I'll post a link to its side effects but it may take a while to be approved

Hi! I actually called the dr yesterday... I am having a flare. It just coincided with taking palquenil for the first time. I am back on prednisone and have reduced the plaquenil to one time a day at night. I have only been on the med for one week, so I won't even know until I am on it for three weeks if it is working. Thanks for the link... I had seen that. I am newly diagnosed, so it is a great deal of information to wrap my head around. One day at a time!
