Hey everyone

Ive had a spinal fusion l5/l4/s1 ive had it done for

Bout 1/1/2 yrs and was on targin 40/20 cause of a squashed root nerve that has not recovered. My pain doc changed my med to plexia 100 sr. been taking them for 3days and cant stay a sleep and im restless and irritable and still in pain again.does plexia 100 take a while to work cause its not really doing anything for me at the moment.

    Gabapentin works well for me for nerve root pain in my legs.

    Have tried just about everything else.

    Are you in the States? Your drugs have different names in the UK.

    Have you tried Carbamazepine or Amitriptyline? Amitriptyline is not commonly prescribed now as it's an older style nerve pain med but it works for me in conjunction with the carbamazepine.

    I was on amit rip for six months I'm in uk but I felt drunk all the time I'm biding my arm pain do you have trouble walking and balance I had top twould discs fused 1

      Hey ive had the fusion for bout 2yrs and still no good and in anserw to your question yes i have trouble walking and with my balance and anything below the knee is a problem (bending over) was on targin 40/20 worked well with minimal sideeffects now docs swap me to pelexia 100 or tapentadol thanks
