Let me start this off.

In following a Med Diet, one thing we are trying to do is ramp up the daily fruit and veg whilst decreasing the chocs to the level of occasional yummy treats.

So, instead of those coffee break :choc: biscuits, swap in a piece of fruit.

Try it - grapes, plums, apples, banana... something new and tasty.

Over to you...

For me, its great chopping up all those bits of left over vegatables with a few onions, garlic, a drizzle of olive oil and roasting for 20-25mins. Great with either pasta or a piece of oven baked salmon.

You can't overlook the benefits of Olive Oil, delicious and so healthy. However I have heard you should not heat it to too high a temperature, so frying probably not the best idea.
