Posted , 10 users are following.

I have had had a bump (about 3mm) on the lower shaft of my penis from anywhere between 6-12 months. I am 18 now and I haven't had sex. The lump is hard but doesn't hurt if I touch it, but when I squeeze it nothing happens other than it gets quite painful. it doesnt itch and i dont feel it but I am still concerned

Here are a few pictures for a better understanding:

Thanks for in advance for the opinions

Hard to see in pic.. My ex had a hard little bump that felt like it was under the skin. Have you tried using a needle to poke it after a hit soak in the bath?

Sounds like it may just be a benign growth or an infected sebaceous gland. Go see a dermatologist.

Archemedes is a doctor and woukdrknow better than I. I will send him this link to look at.

Feelbroken has asked me to comment on this problem.

Without wanting to panic you I have to say that there can be a few reasons for this type of bump/ papule which can include Lymphocele, Fordyce spots through Molluscum contagiosum to Syphilis (which is unlikely in this case), and beyond.

What does concern me is when you say that it is painful, and it is for this reason that I must urge you to go to your doctor immediatly.

This is in all probability nothing at all but it should be professionally checked-out.

With the greatest respect to archemedes you say it "doesn't hurt"

It seems to me that it has a small "head" on it and I would guess that it is a small cyst or spot which has "hardened"

If you are in Uk or country where medical advice is accessible or free see a doctor otherwise try feelbrokens advice @ ahot bath follwed by lifting the top with a clean needle
