****Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with Grade 1 lumbar spondylolisthesis about 2 months ago. I'm

nervous about this condition because i worked for a neurosurgeon for 18 years and i know about fusions. I hope to never have one . i tried physical therapy for 6 weeks to alleviate pain and strengthen my core but all the exercises cause pain on my back to flare up. now what? i am only taking Motrin as needed so far but my pain level usually stays always at a 2-3. i use to walk but now its limited due to pain. I'm starting to get depressed because I'm limited on what i can do.

i am a wreck worrying about further slippage and how easy it may or may not happen.

Some people say years or never. i would just like some insight to anyone who has thoughts and

recommendations. i dint want this to be on my mind every second or every move of my day.

thanks everyone. BTW....my name is Melissa... i missed that part.
