my memory has become terrible.. it started with me thinking I needed to put something away but I went to do it and I'd alreay done it. It keeps happening, today I found a food wrapper, I can't remember eating it but I must have ate it yesterday. Something like this happens every day and it's scaring me to death. I'm losing my mind. I've suffered with anxiety bad for a year and a half and never had a bad memory. I'm doing things and forgetting I

anyone else have this symptom? I'm at my wits end. I'm so frightened I have a brain tumour something.

The most reasonable reason for your forgetfulness is the anxiety. Anxiety can definitely affect memory but it’s not long-term. I have a friend who after losing his wife was very anxious and grieving and said his memory was just horrible. He thought something really serious was going on. every test he took was normal and that made him realize the real cause was his anxiety and grief. once he was able to get his life a little more on track, and he got some counseling, his memory went right back to normal. anxiety has caused me to be a little forgetful at times.even people who don’t have anxiety can be forgetful at times. but anxiety just makes it more of a possibility.

are are you taking time out for yourself to just relax and pamper yourself? Those things are really important to offset anxiety. Take care of yourself in every way. Eating, exercise, meditation, sleep, Or get a nice relaxing massage, relaxing baths, etc. make yourself a priority and be determined to relax your mind and your entire body on a regular basis.I know how horrible anxiety can make us feel but we don’t have to let it defeat us.hang in there and take one day at a time.
