someone told me the difference between a forgetful moment, is later on you remember.
Dementia people do not recall. a simple answer but it did help me. Right now I'm sitting in hospice with my dad on his last journey.

How old is your dad and how long ago was he diagnosed ?

my dad is 91 Family thinks about 10 yrs Signs were there , but did not go to the Dr right away. Its been long and hard and slow. I don't wish this on any one.
I don't know how much information you would like to hear. Please ask if you want more. I believe the more informed we are the better choices we are able to make.
