Do you find it hard to get aroused and orgasm? lol..... I'm on 112.5mg and I'm having difficulty doing so, is it the same with you guys and does it get any better the longer you take it?

    Hi Liam,

I'm finding it impossible to ejaculate during intercourse but can, with great effort, by masterbating. I'm off Ven now for 2 weeks and do feel it's getting better.

    Good luck, DaveTTT

Thanks for the reply Dave! I find it difficult to ejaculate with intercourse or masturbation, like yourself it takes great effort! I'm due to go up to 150mg so I imagine it will get worse!

Hi Liam, not necessarily, it got easier for me. Don't know why, might be just getting past a stage with the meds?? However, did then start getting a tingling below my testicles when I ejaculated which was quite strong and sex drive went. Took a lot more to get aroused. Hope it helps. Alls not lost, it's just harder to do with other feelings.

Thanks Rob, hopefully things will get easier for me to! It's like I've lost all feeling in my penis with no pleasure or touch sensitivity to get aroused or climax. What dose are you on?

Hi am not I have been off now for approx 4 months, after being on for about 20 years on and off. This has its own problems.

Are you still suffering the same problems or are you back to normal now your off venlafaxine? It gets frustrating the effort required to ejaculate and can't really feel any sensations when having sex or masturbating!! I hope things improve...
