Menieres and flying

I've been diagnosed with menieres. My ENT says flying will not cause any symptoms. I find the constant engine noise increases my tinitus. I'm considering buying the bose QC20 noise cancelling in ear headphones. Some blogs have suggested that they cause a slight pressure on the ear drum. Has anyone suffering with menieres used headphones on a flight? I don't want the headphones to stir up the vertigo.

I stress a little when flying. Stress can set off menieres. I went ahead and purchased the bose noise cancelling earbud headphones. Not sure if having something in your ear for a long time will change the fluid pressure in the inner ear. the drone of the engine makes my tinnitus worse. Hope they work!

I have had trouble with flying quite a bit. Ask your ENT Doctor for EARPLANES. You should be able to purchase them at a pharmacy. They are special earplugs to wear when you fly and they work very well.
