I have been diagnosed with meniers and have been given bethahistine dihydrocloride has any one tried it please as im a fraid to take it as the pharmise told me it would cause me to be dizzie if im not having an attack.so i have carried on with cinnazine.

    I was on 8mg sept 2016 worked ok for a couple of week then back to feeling dizzy upped to 16mg nov 2016 same again 1 month ok then dreaded dizzy spells comeback and couldn’t see a end March 2017 on 32mg x3 and never look back have had one Minor attack April 2017 and 1 3 day ear fullness episode which my ent said take 48mg x3 till it passes,nothing since and got my confidence and life back,even my hearing back to Normal from last test!!!these work keep at it chin up I’ve been there in bed with sick bowl!!!!its only words and you won’t be able to see it but it does get better

    Also to add I went on a low salt diet last January think it made my symptoms worse,since I was on 32x3 I scrapped it all eat what I want drink what I want think most of these food fears a myth,I went from dreading if I can complete a shift at work to now doing extra hours overtime in space of 6 months !!!

      Hi Steve, that’s so encouraging to read. So you went off the highest dose? How long were you on 48mg? Sounds like you’ve got a great specialist
