Meniett device for Meniere's disease

Does anyone have experience of using a Meniett device for Meniere's disease? Has it helped with any of the symptoms? The specialist has suggested I try one as nothing else seems to help with the symptoms. Problem is that it isn'the supported by the NHS and you have to buy it at a cost of £1800. There is something else on the market called a P100 made by ENTTEX but a hand operated device which does a similar thing but at a fraction of the cost. Anyone used one? I saw it on Ed Cheung's YouTube videos about Meniere's.

I would also be interested to hear from others that may have used the Meniett device.

I just came upon this post inquiring about the Meniett device. I had my first Menieres episode in November 2008 and was just stunned by the diagnosis shortly thereafter. I feel so blessed that the ENT I went was familiar with the Meniett device. Yes, it's expensive but compared to being immobilized and spending days laying VERY still in bed, it's a bargain. I purchased my Meniett the middle of 2009. I used it faithfully 3 times a day and within 4 months my episodes had decreased. I was working during the entire year of 2009 but was able to retire that December. It is almost 2017 and I still use the same device. I've had 4 tube replacements, in office procedures. For me, the Meniett was life changing. I've only had one episode in all these years and I believe that was because I missed treatments since I was feeling so well. It works!
