Meniscus repair surgery today

Posted , 4 users are following.

****hello! i just had my second surgery in under a year to fix tears in my meniscus i already was in LOTS of pain...but then my son's 80 pound service dog jumped up directly on my knee...I AM NOW IN EXCRUCIATING pain...can't put weight on it at all. Is it possible that the dog caused more damage? I AM SUPER SCARED that she did more damage....less then 24 hours since surgery this AM. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Morning Michelle - oh dear , it does sound as though your 'furry friend' , may have caused some damage - you need to see the Dr/Consultant to verify it . I had a full knee replacement 3 months ago and have been , still are, that our 40KG GSD doesn't knock me or run into me - its like been hit by a brick wall- they are so strong . Di hope you get some answers and treatment - not much fun with the pain

Let us know the outcome, sending best wishes, Mechele x

Hooefully a mri scan should show what you have. I hope it was just a minor twist that can repair itself 😃
